Art Built on the Radical Idea That the Human Spirit Knows What It's Doing

Come to the Other Side

We know that creativity explodes when people are cared for and trusted — not because we read it somewhere, but because we ran a company on that principle for fifteen years and watched it happen. Not Real People Studios exists to carry that proof forward through painting, writing, storytelling, and every other medium we can get our hands on. We are building something new from the ground up, and the art is both the evidence and the invitation.

We Gave Up on the Old System. We've Been Creating Ever Since.

Eevie and Cedric Ford are an artist collective rooted in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania — painters, storytellers, ghost tour guides, and unapologetic believers in the radical notion that a better world is already being built. The name, Not Real  People Studios, came from a moment in a leather shop when someone looked at what was happening around him and said this does not happen to real people. He was right. It still doesn’t.
